Al-Kathiri praises efforts of the Civil Status Authority to develop its work

Mr. Ali Abdullah Al-Kathiri, Chairman of the National Assembly of the Southern Transitional Council, on Wednesday, met Major General Sanad Jamil, Head of the Civil Status and Civil Registry Authority.
The Chairman of the National Assembly listened from Major General Jamil to a comprehensive explanation of the work of the Civil Status and Civil Registry Authority and the procedures followed by the Authority in issuing electronic cards and official permits related to births at home and abroad, deaths, and burial permits.
Major General Jamil confirmed that the Authority has a complete database and statistics on the card extractor, which includes information about his place and date of birth, pointing out that the new identification card represents the summary of the collection of information related to the citizen and will be used in all fields. It also provides the possibility of amending, adding, and updating the data.
The Chairman of the National Assembly praised the efforts made by the Authority to develop its work and keep pace with technological development, stressing that the Southern Transitional Council, led by President Aidaroos Qasim Al-Zubaidi, supports everything that would facilitate citizens’ transactions in all southern governorates.
