Al-Kathiri reviews the military and security situation in Shabwa Governorate

Mr. Ali Al-Kathiri, Acting President of the Southern Transitional Council, President of the National Assembly, met on Wednesday, with the Commander of the 11th Thunderbolt Brigade, Deputy Commander of Joint Forces and Operations in Shabwa Governorate, Lieutenant Colonel Aseel bin Rashid.

During the meeting, which was attended by members of the Presidency of the Transitional Council, Abdel Nasser Al-Jaari, Dr. Al-Khader Al-Saidi, and Fadi Hassan Baoum, Al-Kathiri was briefed on the overall military and security situation in Shabwa Governorate, and the nature of the tasks of the Southern Joint Forces in establishing the foundations of security and stability in the governorate, securing and protecting roads, and curbing the outlaws, and combating crime, and its efforts to monitor the military situation and joint coordination with the Giants forces in protecting the fronts from Houthi attacks.

Al-Kathiri praised the role of the joint forces in Shabwa Governorate, which were able to carry out their responsibilities with all efficiency and ability in light of the sensitive circumstances taking place in the governorate, stressing that the Southern Transitional Council, led by President Aidaroos Al-Zubaidi, Supreme Commander of the Southern Armed Forces, is constantly keen to provide the necessary support to the southern forces to carry out their tasks assigned as required.
