Al-Kathiri reviews the situation of southern communities in the Horn of Africa

Ali Al-Kathiri, Chairman of the National Assembly of the Southern Transitional Council, welcomed Ambassador Qasim Askar Gibran, representative of the General Department of Foreign Affairs of the Council in Ethiopia and the African Union, on Thursday, in his office in the capital, Aden.
He received a briefing from Ambassador Qasim Askar about the activity of the representative office in strengthening relations with the countries of the African Union in order to serve the cause of the people of the South, the conditions of the southern communities, their commercial activities and their social role in East Africa.
Al-Kathiri expressed his appreciation for the activity of the representation in various aspects of what it represents in the Horn of Africa region, as it is a strategic depth to the south, explaining that there is a necessity to achieve partnership and joint cooperation with African countries.
