Al-Khobaji gets briefed on efforts of the Humanitarian Dialogue Center in peacemaking process

Dr. Nasser Al-Khobaji, Head of the Political Authority, Head of the Negotiations Affairs Unit of the Southern Transitional Council, received on Monday, in the capital, Aden, a team from the Humanitarian Dialogue Center, headed by Mr. Francis Ward, the Yemen and Gulf official at the center, and Ms. Sarah Bukhari, the projects officer.
Dr. Al-Khobaji listened from Mr. Francis to a detailed explanation of the center’s activities during the recent period, as well as the goals achieved in the context of addressing armed conflicts between the conflicting parties and working to mitigate and resolve them, as well as holding discussions on sensitive and thorny issues in a way that is beneficial to the parties.
The center team expressed their thanks and gratitude for the great cooperation they received from the Southern Transitional Council, and its understanding of many issues related to the south, as well as opening channels for internal and external dialogue.
For his part, Dr. Al-Khobaji welcomed the members of the center’s team, appreciating all the efforts that pour into resolving the situation, including political and economic ones, in the south to a large extent, as well as reducing tensions and causes of conflict with the rest of the parties.
Al-Khobaji expressed the position of the Southern Transitional Council in support of the efforts of the Center for Humanitarian Dialogue in creating and promoting peace, to make any efforts made to end the war, establish peace, and end the suffering of southerners succeed.
The meeting was attended by Adam Baron, the Center’s Political Advisor, Mohammed Al-Qadi, the Center’s Political Advisor, and Mazen Mohammed, Director of the Office of the Head of the Political Authority, and the Negotiations Affairs Unit.
