Al-Khobaji informs field coordination team on progress of negotiation process

The member of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council; Acting President of the Council; Head of the Negotiations Affairs Unit, Dr. Nasser Al-Khobaji, met on Wednesday, the military field coordination team to implement the Riyadh Agreement, in the presence of Mr. Ali Al-Kathiri, Vice President of the Negotiations Affairs Unit; member of the Presidency; official spokesman of the Council.
Al-Khobaji briefed the coordination team on the progress of the negotiation process that produced the Riyadh Agreement, stressing the Southern Transitional Council’s keenness to implement it politically and militarily.
Al-Khobaji listened to Major General Mohsen Askar, the military advisor to the President of the Transitional Council, head of the coordination team, for a detailed explanation of the field work, the unilateral initiatives from one side to accelerate its implementation, and the obstacles that the other party puts to impede implementation.
For his part, the head of the field coordination team stressed the importance of call for the coalition leadership to intervene and stop the obstacles and pressure of the other party to stop them and obligate them to complete the implementation of the remaining of their duties at this stage to move to implement other tasks, stressing the need to stop singularity by issuing decisions unilaterally, which represent a danger to overall success of the agreement.
Dr. Al-Khobaji listened to what was presented by the rest of the team, which focused on the team’s keenness for the success of its mission, assuring them that the leadership of the Council is keen to benefit the two parts of the agreement, and work with the coalition to make it successful.
