Al-Khobaji meets with a number of political and social figures from Abyan Governorate

The member of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, Acting President of the Council, Head of the Negotiations Affairs Unit, Dr. Nasser Al-Khobaji, met on Sunday Council’s Presidency headquarters in the capital, Aden, a number of political and social figures and members of the National Assembly from Abyan Governorate.
Dr. Al-Khobaji praised the great sacrifices made by the people of Abyan Governorate in defending the homeland in the face of Houthi organizations, and terrorist groups and militias.
In the meeting, Dr. Al-Khobaji briefed them on the progress of the negotiation process that produced the Riyadh Agreement, reaffirming the Southern Transitional Council’s keenness to implement it politically and militarily.
Dr. Al-Khobaji listened from the attendees, in the meeting which was attended by Engi. Adnan Al-Kaf; the member of the Council’s Presidency, to a detailed explanation of the situation in the governorate of Abyan and the challenges facing the governorate in the current stage, which requires everyone to stand up to manage the construction and development again after what the province witnessed during the last phase.
Dr. Al-Khobaji pointed out that dealing with the upcoming change process is the responsibility of everyone in the community, and that the opportunity is available for Abyan Governorate to be a model in this aspect.
Dr. Al-Khobaji stressed the importance of everyone to be together and work hard with the parity government to perform its tasks to rescue the citizens from the difficult conditions in which they live, stressing that there is no room for corruption at this stage, and it’s enough for what the homeland suffered during the previous periods of corruption.
