Al-Khobaji meets with leadership of Supreme Commission for Southern Army and Security

Dr. Nasser Al-Khobaji, Acting President of the Southern Transitional Council, and Head of the Negotiations Affairs Unit, met on Wednesday, with Major General Saleh Ali Zangul, Chairman of the Supreme Commission for the Southern Army and Security.

During the meeting, which was attended by the vice-presidents of the Southern Army and Security Authority, Brigadier General Saleh Al-Qadi, and Naji Al-Arabi, the Authority’s spokesperson, Dr. Al-Khobaji expressed his happiness with this meeting, conveying to the attendees the greetings of President Commander Aidaroos Qassem Al-Zubaidi, the President of the Transitional Council, Supreme Commander of the Southern Armed Forces and Security.

Al-Khobaji stressed that the leadership of the Transitional Council highly appreciates the efforts made by the southern military, who their efforts serve the homeland in the south, expressing keenness to obtain their rights after all the marginalization and exclusion they suffered from after the invasion against the South in 1994.

Al-Khobaji reiterated that the leadership of the Transitional Council was found in this place to serve the people of the South and adopt their causes, especially the military segment, and if it could not serve them from this position, then there is no point in staying there.

The Acting President of the Transitional Council indicated that the leadership of the Council had spoken and addressed the leadership of the Arab Coalition regarding the rights of the southern military, and stressed the importance of the Coalition leadership to take more effective measures in this regard to ensure that they receive their dues.

For his part, Major General Saleh Zangul expressed his thanks to the leadership of the Transitional Council and their efforts in order for the southern military to obtain their legitimate rights, stressing that the commission left space for those efforts, and is still waiting for more effective steps, before it decides what it is appropriate to extract the rights of its members.
