Al-Khubaji Meets with French Political Researcher Gerard Vespierre in the capital, Aden

Dr. Nasser Al-Khubaji, Head of the Political Commission (PC) assisting the Presidium of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), head of the negotiations affairs unit, received on Thursday, in the capital, Aden, French political researcher Gerard Vespierre, Head of Le Monde Décrypté.
The meeting discussed ways to strengthen academic and research cooperation between the STC and French and international research institutions, as well as highlighting political and economic issues of concern to the region.
The discussions covered a wide range of topics of common interest, including recent political developments in the South and future prospects for achieving stability and development.
Dr. Al-Khubaji praised the contributions made by French researchers in the field of political studies and commended the active role played by researchers in promoting international understanding of the cause of the people of the South, expressing the importance of supporting international endeavors to achieve peace and stability in the South, stressing the pivotal role of the STC in this context.
From his side, Mr. Gerard Vespere praised the STC’s support and warm welcome to international researchers, journalists, and politicians, expressing his hope to strengthen joint cooperation and exchange research expertise. He also articulated his keen interest in the political developments in the South and his desire to contribute to the efforts aimed at restoring the state.
