Al-Mahramy Announces Al-Hodeida Airport under Full Control
[su_label type=”info”]SMA News – Al-Arabia Al-Yemenia – Al-Hodeida – Exclusive[/su_label][su_spacer size=”10″] Abu Zaraa Al-Mahramy, commander general of the West Coast Front announced on Tuesday June 20th, that joint troops, with backup of Arab Coalition troops, forced full control over Al-Hodeida airport. He added that Southern Giants Brigades broke into the airport in spite of fierce resistance of Al-Houthi militias. Al-Houthis’ pockets are now being followed inside the airport.
Joint troops blocked the reinforcements lines of Al-Houthis at the eastern part of the airport and militants escaped towards the northern gate. He also indicated that smoke is seen over the military airport inside Al-Hodeida airport complex while military air crafts of the Arab Coalition flew over the airport. On the other hand, Al-Houthi Iranian militias implanted explosive and land mines in major portions of the airport and launched a bombard over nearby civilian districts.
