Al-Makla Supports Brave Decisions of Local Authorities as Reflections of Hadhramaut Consensus

[su_label type=”info”]SMA News – Al-Makla – Exclusive[/su_label][su_spacer size=”10″][su_dropcap]H[/su_dropcap]undreds of thousands of Hadhramaut citizens, representing all sectors of Hadhramaut and the whole political spectrum including party leaders, tribal leaders, syndicates NGOs and public figures, mobilized in Al-Makla in support for the decisions of local authorities that came in harmony with Hadhramaut public opinion, especially the decision of halting oil pumping till the government responds to Hadhramaut rights.
General Farag Salmeen Al-Ba Hasani, governor of Hadhramaut and commander of the second military zone, Sheikh Amr Ben Habrish Al-Ali, first deputy governor of Hadhramaut and head of Hadhramaut Inclusive Conference, Sheikh Mohamed Ben Garoua Al-Saiari, deputy governor of dissert affairs and leaders of Hadhramaut Inclusive Conference attended the demonstration in addition to other executive, military and security personnel, tribal leaders, political figures, syndicate members and other public figures.
Demonstrators asserted the legitimacy of their demands and expressed their full support for the governor’s decision of halting oil exports. They also carried the flags of Saudi Arabia and UAE in expression of their appreciation for their positive attitudes towards the south. Demonstrators also denounced the acts of unjust being exercised against Hadhramaut for long.
Governor of Hadhramaut addressed demonstrators in appreciation of their lineup behind their legitimate demands indicating that this attitude can never be stopped by ant military force. He said: “Experiences proved that people’s will is the mightiest weapon ever. The stage you have passed asserted that Hadhramaut is the land of history, civilization and authenticity. You are the perfect example of that. Hadhramaut accepts diversity, but when it comes to national cause and rights, the Hadhramauti people will line up and no tribal nor political ideologies can divide them”. he indicated that this is the democratic construction of Hadhramaut that can be the base of upcoming construction.
Mohsen Salem Nosair, head of escalation committee, addressed the crowds indicating that all Hadhramaut citizens insist on having their rights regardless the costs are. He also thanked the governor, deputy governors and all demonstrators for their response with the objectives of the demonstration.
Eng. Hasan Ba Ras recited the statement of oil graduates who demanded a fair share in jobs of oil companies working in Hadhramaut.
Sheikh Salem Al-Saadi vice head of escalation committee recited the final statement of the demonstration indicating that demonstrators fully support the local authority under governor Farag Salmeen Al-Ba Hasani in his historic decision of halting oil exports till the government and the central bank respond to Hadhramaut demands in full. He added that demonstrators will protect their local authority and will denounce any try to harm any of them.
The statement asserted that demonstrators are committed with outcomes of Hadhramaut Inclusive Conference and the consultative meeting of local authorities, NGOs and political components in addition to the statement of the extraordinary meeting of the executive office of Hadhramaut.
The statement demanded the government to assume the responsibility of providing Hadhramaut with energy I addition to recruiting fully-equipped 3000 security guards for Hadhramaut Valley and Dissert directorates according to the presidential directives of this concern. In addition, the statement demanded the government to pay salaries of security and military personnel that are delayed for 4 months now in addition to paying them regularly in the future.
The statement asserted that Petro-Muslia Co. should provide all directorates of Hadhramaut with fuel necessary for electric power stations daily according to the requirements of these stations in addition to covering domestic needs of cooking gas from Hadhramaut gas fields.
The statement also demanded the president, government and Arab Coalition to quickly open Al-Rayan international airport to decrease citizens’ suffering during flights.
The statement also indicated that recent events proved that Hadhramaut is now mature enough and united as an authority, elites and community to gain its legitimate rights and to punish its robbers and killers of their sons. This means that the caravan of struggle will go on till all objectives are fulfilled as an integrated punch of rights according to the outcomes of the consultative meeting.
Demonstrators asserted that in case the government didn’t assume its responsibilities or ignored the presidential decrees, they are willing to escalate more as they took an auth before God to be loyal to the southern cause and the rightful demands of the southern people.
Demonstrators also declared their support to his excellency president Abd Rabu Mansour Hady and the Arab Coalition, led by Saudi Arabia and UAE, asserting that Hadhramaut will always be loyal and grateful to their support in liberating its territories from Al-Qaeda and establishing Hadhramaut Elites and Security Forces. They also denounced all rumors that aim to maim the role of Saudi Arabia and UAE considering such acts as hostile against Hadhramaut.
