Al-Muharrami congratulates on completion of solar energy station project in the capital, Aden

Abdul Rahman Al-Muharrami, member of the Presidential Leadership Council, blessed the completion of the work of the solar energy station project in the capital, Aden, provided by the United Arab Emirates, and officially inaugurated its entry into service, with its full generating capacity estimated at 120 megawatts.

Al-Muharrami said, in a tweet on his official account on the X Twitter platform, on Monday: “We congratulate this important shift in the path of clean energy. We emphasize the importance of this strategic project in strengthening the electricity system and improving its services provided to the citizens of Aden who are in dire need of it due to their suffer from power outages,” he pointed out that the project represents the first nucleus for strengthening the electrical system in our country by relying on clean and renewable energy sources, and contributes to achieving sustainable development goals.

Al-Muharrami extended his sincere thanks and appreciation to the brothers in the United Arab Emirates for their generous support for this project, which embodies the depth of the fraternal relations between the two brotherly countries, and its constant keenness to help our people in various fields. He also expressed his thanks to everyone who was keen, endeavored, contributed and cooperated to complete this important service project, especially the project management, those in charge of it and the team of consultants who made great efforts to complete this great project.

At the end of his tweet, the member of the Presidential Leadership Council, Al-Muharrami, stressed the importance of preserving this important achievement and protecting it from any tampering, to ensure the continuity of its operation and achieve a success story that can be built upon in establishing similar projects in other governorates.
