Al-Muharrami: Protecting Aden University campus is everyone’s responsibility

Abdul Rahman Al-Muharrami, Vice President of the Southern Transitional Council, member of the Presidential Leadership Council, on Thursday, received the University of Aden Lands Follow-up Committee, headed by Dr. Al-Khader Nasser.
The two sides discussed the university’s conditions and the problems of the campus, as a result of the encroachments on it in Bir Ahmed, as well as the negative effects resulting from the encroachments.
Al-Muharrami stressed protecting the campus lands in Aden from encroachments and illegal construction, and addressing the problem radically, considering that preserving these lands is everyone’s responsibility and a public interest.
He appreciated the keenness of the university presidency and its teaching bodies to continue the academic process as a basis for development and building generations, in light of a difficult period and lack of capabilities.
In turn, the leadership of the University of Aden praised the efforts of the member of the Presidential Leadership Council for his interest in higher education and his continued support for the university and its members.
