Al-Qaeda admits killing of a leader close to Emir of the organization in Abyan

Al-Qaeda in Yemen has admitted that one of its members was killed by gunfire of the southern forces in Abyan Governorate.
The organization in Yemen said that Musab Al-Jaadani, Nasser Ali Salah Al-Jaadani, was shot dead by the southern forces in Mudiyah district.
The organization indicated that Al-Jaadani was killed in clashes in Wadi Omran, and it did not indicate the date of his death
News revealed last week the killing of Musab Al-Jaadani, a close associate of the emir of Al-Qaeda in Shabwa and Abyan governorates, Abu Al-Hayja Al-Hadidi, and the coordinator of his communication and movements.
Al-Jaadani was killed after he infiltrated Wadi Omran with the aim of carrying out a field monitoring operation against the southern forces, before the forces fired bullets that killed him instantly.
