Al-Qaeda fighters withdrew from their main stronghold of “Yakla” in Al-Bayda governorate, to Shabwa governorate, in coordination with the Brotherhood.

Sources in Shabwa indicated that groups of Al-Qaeda elements returned to the governorate during this week and moved between districts with ease.

According to military sources, cars belong to the organization arrived in succession to the districts of Al-Saeed, Mayfa’a, and Bayhan, where the organization’s forces had previously arrived, to reinforce the Islah party forces in Shabwa against the southern forces.

The return of Al-Qaeda elements to Shabwa comes after the Houthi militia took control of most of the organization’s sites in its main stronghold in Qifah, and last of which were the villages of “Al-Hanou” and “Al-Motal” in the center of “Yakla” area.

Tribal sources in Shabwa confirmed that leaders of the Brotherhood have provided great facilities to the organization’s elements by providing food and camps for their passage at the Brotherhood’s military points in the governorate.
