Al-Sabiha tribes carry out armed protest rejecting establishment by Tariq Saleh forces of a military site on their lands

The Al-Sabiha tribes in Lahj governorate carried out an armed protest, protesting against Tariq Saleh’s forces establishing a military site on their lands, in Bab al-Mandab area.
The tribes affirmed their adherence to their rights and lands, and declared their categorical rejection of any interference by any party that threatens the stability of the region or tampering with its security.
The tribes affirmed that they would not allow anyone to tamper with their lands or dispose of them without respecting the legitimacy and will of the local population.
It should be noted that the creation of a military site by Tariq Saleh’s forces in Bab al-Mandab region aroused the resentment and anger of the Sabiha tribes, who consider this measure an unacceptable interference in their internal affairs and a threat to their security and stability.
This armed protest pause comes as an expression of the tribes’ will to defend their lands and rights, and carries a clear message that they will not accept any transgressions or attacks on their sovereignty and the safety of their people.
