Al-Saqqaf discusses ways of joint cooperation with the Civil Status Department

Mr. Moamen Al-Saqqaf, member of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, head of the Transitional Executive of the capital Aden, met on Tuesday, at the headquarters of the Authority, Colonel Mustafa Al-Nukhai, Director of the Civil Status and Civil Registry Department in the capital Aden.

The meeting discussed ways of coordination and mechanisms to enhance joint cooperation between the Transitional Council of the capital Aden and the Civil Status Department, which contributes to improving the level of services provided to citizens, especially with regard to issuing national identity cards in legal and organized ways.

Al-Saqqaf stressed the vital role of the Civil Status Department in facilitating citizens’ access to their official documents, stressing the need to support efforts aimed at enhancing the performance of the department in a way that serves the public interest.

For his part, Colonel Al-Nukhai appreciated the interest of the Southern Transitional Council in the Civil Status Department, pointing out the importance of continuing cooperation and joint coordination to ensure the provision of more efficient services to citizens.
