Al-Shabahi warns of epidemic disaster in southern governorates due to poor health situation
Dr. Salem Al-Shabahi, Head of Health and Environment committee in the National Assembly, Chairman of the Corona Confrontation Committee in the Transitional Council, warned from an epidemic disaster, if the Corona pandemic reaches the southern governorates, especially the capital Aden.
Dr. Al-Shabahi wrote on Twitter: We are afraid of the explosion of a deadly epidemic disaster that takes many human lives in light of the spread of the fatal Corona pandemic that invaded the world.
Al-Shabahi added by saying: If this pandemic spreads in Aden and the rest of the southern governorates, it will be difficult to control it in light of the deteriorating health situation for 30 years that has no care taken at. Add to this kicks that might even hurt its owner if the pandemic spreads and not only disrupts preparations against that pandemic.
And he added: If that pandemic breaks out in the capital, Aden, and the rest of the southern governorates, it is due to these sluggishness in the health situation, and also because of the kicks of some sides and procrastination, as well as the lack of commitment to the instructions and advice, and unfortunately underestimated it by some.
Al-Shabahi concluded his tweet by saying: We decide to attend the entire curfew for the next week in the capital, Aden, which is allowed only for medical staff, electricity and water workers, and cleaners.
