Al-Shaqi: Abyan governorate is targeted and there is a plot to block the Arrows of the East

The head of the local leadership of the Southern Transitional Council in Abyan governorate, Mohammed Ahmad al-Shaqi, warned against attempts by terrorist forces to destabilize security and stability in the governorate.
He said in media statements on Wednesday, that Operation Arrows of the East aims to eradicate terrorism and provide security and stability in the districts of Abyan, especially the central region.
He explained that there are attempts to obstruct Operation Arrows of the East by those serving the Houthi militia and the terrorist Brotherhood, and stressed that the districts of Abyan are targeted to prevent confronting the plot being hatched against the governorate.
