Al-Shubhi Meets the Chinese Ambassador to Yemen
[su_label type=”info”]SMA News – Riyadh – Exclusive [/su_label][su_spacer size=”10″] [su_dropcap]R[/su_dropcap]epresentative of the foreign affairs department of the Southern Transitional Council, Mr. Adel Sadek Al-Shubhi met the Chinese ambassador to Yemen, Mr. Lang Yong, at Riyadh – Saudi Arabia.
Al-Shubhi conveyed greetings of president Aidarous Al-Zubaidi to the Chinese ambassador and the Chinese people and provided the ambassador with full details about the southern cause and the role of the council in the peace process in addition to the importance of representing the south to guarantee success of political process and avoid previous mistakes as a way to reach a just and inclusive solution.
He also appreciated the Chinese experience in development and expressed the southern willingness to make use of it as China and the South had long history of relations before 1990 union.
The Chinese ambassador asserted his country’s support to peace process and his intention to visit Aden soon. He also sent his greetings to president Al-Zubaidi with Adel Al-Shubhi.
Jean Hoi, head of the delegation, and Wang Yee We, an attaché at the Chinese ambassador, and Yen Haw, attended the meeting.
