Al-Shueby Confirms Liberation of Mountains Overseeing Wadi Shueb by the Army and Resistance
[su_label]SMA News – Lahj – Tour Al-Baha – Exclusive[/su_label][su_spacer] Mahboub Al-Shueby, prominent commander of the resistance in Shueb and general coordinator of refugees, confirmed that army and resistance troops liberated the mountain peaks overseeing Wadi Shueb as these peaks were occupied by Al-Houthi militias 7 months ago, leading citizens to abandon their homes and properties to escape the war launched by this vicious power against innocent civilians. He added that tens of citizens lost their lives or injured during clashes with Al-Houthis to defend their lands.
“We hope that these sacrifices of citizens of Shueb will be appreciated as this area lacks simplest provisions of life required in daily life activities for a very long time now”, added Al-Shueby.
Commander Al-Shueby also praised the efforts of the Arab Coalition under commandership of Saudi Arabia for their backup of the army and resistance troops till these victories are achieved. He dedicated the victory to president Hady in addition to General Ahmed Abdullah Turkey, governor of Lahj, General Fadl Hasan, commander of the fourth military zone, Hamdy Shukry, commander of the Giants’ first brigade, members of the resistance and citizens of Shueb who fought in the front lines to block Al-Houthis from return. He also congratulated refugees who suffered hard conditions while aid organizations ignored them completely.
Al-Sueby, on behalf of citizens of Shueb, called for urgent care for the area from president Hady and Arab Coalition so that refugees can return to their homes as they lost their animal herds and need solar power and pumps for water.
