Al-Socotri reviews the needs of the ministry’s branches in Socotra and islands of Abd al-Kuri and Samha

The Minister of Agriculture, Irrigation and Fisheries, Major General Salem Al-Socotri, was briefed on the conditions and most important needs of the ministry’s branches in the Archipelago of Socotra and the islands of Abd al-Kuri and Samha, directing them to provide all aspects of the necessary support.
During the meeting that brought the minister together with the Director General of the Agriculture and Irrigation Office in Socotra, Eng. Yahya Saleh Saeed, and Captain Ahmed Ali, Director of the Authority’s Fisheries Branch in the Socotra Archipelago, in which the minister listened from the officials of the Ministry’s branches to the difficulties they face, and the most important requirements for the conduct of work in the fisheries sectors and the agricultural, assuring them of his great interest in Socotra governorate and the two islands of Abd al-Kuri and Samha.
Minister Al-Socotri directed for the rehabilitation of the ministry’s offices and branches in the archipelago, stressing his keenness to accommodate the most prominent requirements according to work priorities and needs, in addition to directing to send a ministerial technical team to study all the needs of agricultural and fisheries projects in the archipelago, noting the entitlement of Socotra and the islands of Abd al-Kuri and Samha for all that attention and support after years of deprivation.
