Al-Thaqali reviews societal issues in Socotra

Raafat Al-Thaqali, Governor of the Socotra Archipelago, on Monday joined a meeting of the Executive Body of the General Council of the People of Socotra and Al-Mahra, in which he reviewed the societal issues across the archipelago.
The meeting discussed official and political efforts to enhance the island’s stability and maintain its social fabric, through joint action and combating extraneous phenomena.
Al-Thaqali expressed his appreciation for the national positions of the General Council of the people of Socotra and Al-Mahra governorates, and its constant keenness to support the efforts of the local authority in the archipelago.
During the meeting, Al-Thaqali got briefed by the Chairman of the Executive Board, Sheikh Mubarak Ali bin Qabalan, of the efforts made by the General Council in resolving many issues and preserving the social fabric.
