Al-Wali visits the headquarters of the international mission of MSF in the capital Aden
Dr. Abdel Nasser Al-Wali, member of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, head of the local leadership of the Council in the capital Aden, and vice-chairman of the Relief and Humanitarian Action Committee in the Southern Transitional Council, paid an inspection visit to the headquarters of the International Mission of Doctors Without Borders in the capital, Aden.
During the visit, Al-Wali met with Mr. Miguel Terzian, head of the international mission, who is currently in the capital Aden, on a short working visit and Mr. Ahmed Mohamed Mahat, head of the organization’s mission in Yemen.
Dr. Al-Wali welcomed Mr. Terzian’s important visit to the capital Aden, and thanked the organization for its outstanding efforts in the humanitarian and health fields and efforts of combating Covid-19 pandemic.
Dr. Al-Wali stressed on the continuation of cooperation and coordination of joint and permanent work between the Transitional Council leadership and Doctors Without Borders and support for the humanitarian organization’s work and health activities in all governorates of the south.
For his part Mr. Terzian thanked the leaders of the Southern Transitional Council for providing the facilitation of the humanitarian organization’s works, as well as the protection and insurance efforts provided to the organization’s staff in the capital Aden, and the rest of the neighboring southern governorates.
The meeting was attended by Eng. Mohammad Al-Abadi, Advisor to the Chairman of the Transitional Council for Organizations Affairs, and Mr. Mohammad Al-Hajj, Assistant Coordinator of MSF in the capital, Aden.
