Al-Yafe’y Discusses Joint Coordination with College of Media

Mr. Mukhtar Al-Yafe’y, the deputy head of the National Southern Media Authority (NSMA), received at the headquarters of NSMA on Sunday in the capital, Aden, Dr. Mohammed Abdul-Hadi, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Media at the University of Aden.
At the meeting, Mr. Al-Yafe’y expressed delight at this visit, which comes within the framework of the keenness of the southern academicians to promote the level of media and qualify its members.
The meeting was devoted to discussing a range of issues related to the media of the South, its institutions, and ways of effective cooperation and joint coordination between NSMA, academicians, and the Faculty of Media at the University of Aden within the framework of preparing and conducting training programs for media members and journalists of the South.
The meeting stressed the importance of strengthening the role of the southern media in educating and raising awareness among the community so that they cannot be vulnerable to falling prey to false media campaigns that spread rumours and lies that target the South, its identity, and just cause.
