Al-Yamani and the Corrupt Legacy of Al-Mekhlafi

Sources asserted that “Al-Yamani” found himself in the middle of a legacy of corruption and favoritism.
Close sources to “Al-Yamani” indicated that he revised the lists of appointments in the ministry of foreign affairs and was shocked of the mass corruption practiced by “Al-Mekhlafi” who was expelled to a “consultative position”. According to these sources, “Al-Yamani” may ask the president to reconsider all ministerial decrees issued by “Al-Mekhlafi”, including appointments of ambassadors and diplomats in embassies and consulates.
It is noteworthy that since his appointment as a minister of foreign affairs, “Al-Mekhlafi” managed to appoint his sons and relatives in positions inside the ministry. He even accompanied one of his sons in an official meeting with a great power ignoring the appointed ambassador to this country.
