Al-Zubaidi Meets Director of UN Envoy’s Office in Aden
[su_label type=”info”]SMA News – Aden – Exclusive [/su_label][su_spacer size=”10″] [su_dropcap]P[/su_dropcap]resident Aidarous Kassem Al-Zubaidi, president of the Southern Transitional Council, received Mr. Marwan Ali, director of UN Envoy’s Office, Mr. Martin Griffith, in his office in Aden.
Mr. Marwan Ali informed president Al-Zubaidi with the outcomes of UN Envoy to Yemen efforts to solve the Yemeni crisis and bring peace in the region. Al-Zubaidi asserted support of the council to UN efforts in this respect to reach a fair solution for all unresolved issues including the southern cause according to the demands and expectations of the southern people. He also asserted the council’s willingness to participate in these efforts.
Al-Zubaidi also appreciated the reactivation of diplomatic headquarters of several countries in Aden and indicated the council’s willingness to provide them with all security facilitations for their work that aims to bring security and stability to Aden.
Dr. Nasser Al-Khabji and General Salem Al-Socotri, members of the council’s presidency, attended the meeting in addition to professor Abd Al-Nasser Al-Wali, chairperson of Aden Local leadership, and director of the president’s office.
