Al-Zubaidi Meets Members of the Engineers Syndicate and Other Southern Syndicates

[su_label type=”info”]SMA News – Aden – Exclusive[/su_label][su_spacer size=”10″][su_dropcap]P[/su_dropcap]resident Aidarous Kassem Al-Zubaidi, president of the Southern Transitional Council, met members of the executive office of engineers’ syndicate and other southern syndicates on Wednesday June 27th, 2019.
The meeting, also attended by newly graduate engineers and agricultural engineers, discussed the activation of southern syndicates and maintaining industrial and economic facilities in preparation to social dialogue to attract engineers to actively participate in their communities.
The meeting also discussed mechanisms of improving southern economy on the levels infrastructure, production and industry in addition to preparing plans for improving services and infrastructure for southern citizens.
The president appreciated efforts of the syndicate all over the south as engineers represent the major sector for development and reconstruction of the south. He indicated the importance of communicating with members of syndicates in the south to exchange visions and thoughts in all fields of their experiences to achieve sustainable development of southern governorates.
The president said: “the council will never take a single step before consulting experts in the south. We should all encourage engineers to participate and use their right in electing their representatives in the syndicate and all other organizations to correct past mistakes”.
He also asserted the importance of regular meetings with syndicate members to reach ideas that benefit the south. He also indicated the patriotic role of syndicates in supporting efforts of reconstruction and sustainable development to build the expected future for citizens as this future requires collaboration of all southern representatives. He asserted that the council reaches for all sectors with clear willingness to build the south.
Attendants discussed their ideas and thoughts concerning challenges facing the south in addition to means of reactivating research centers for agriculture, oil and industry. They also discussed means of eliminating administrative corruption, settlement of engineers’ situations and reconsidering salaries. Several community problems were discussed with full agreement that their solutions should come though an integrated package of projects and measures including changes in the administrative structure of organizations to replace them with well-qualified cadres with vision, hope and seriousness.
Dr. Nasser Al-Khabji and Eng. Adnan Al-Kaf, members of the council’s presidency, and professor Abd Al-Nasser Al-Wali, chairman of Aden Local Leadership, attended the meeting.
