Al-Zubaidy Asserts Support of South Demands for Arab South

[su_label type=”info”]SAMA News – Al-Ghaida – Exclusive[/su_label][su_spacer size=”10″][su_label type=”info”]Amman – SMA – PIC[/su_label][/su_spacer] Aidarous Al-Zubaidy, president of the southern transitional council asserted the council’s full support for the demands of southern governorates, including Al-Mehra, to be an independent territory under the Arab South State. In his meeting with some members of the council and public and tribal leaders of Al-Mehra, Al-Zubaidy said: the council asserts in its political agenda that we all partners in a federal state and every governorate has the right to allot its revenues and protect its borders. He also asserted that the council approves all decisions taken by southern citizen all over the south including Al-Mehra.
Al-Zubaidy called for the Arab Ally Forces to form Elite Forces of Al-Mehra due to its strategic location and to protect land, sea and air borders. Al-Zubaidy explained that the formation of the southern transitional council is the fruit of the southern people struggle for freedom and is not merely a reaction to dismissals. He also indicated that the council is completing the formation of its branches and department in all southern governorates and praised Al-Mehra citizens for their warm welcome, especially Al-Sultan Abdullah Ben Essa Ben Afrar, member of the southern transitional council.
In turn, Ben Afrar welcomed the visitors and indicated that he supports the demands of Al-Mehra citizens in establishing a federal territory in Al-Mehra and Socotra.
