[su_label type=”info”]SMA News – Amman – Exclusive[/su_label][su_spacer size=”10″] Former southern president Ali Nasser Mohamed met Mr. Martin Griffith, UN special envoy to Yemen in Amman on Sunday October 14th, 2014. The meeting discussed view points about war and peace in Yemen as an extension of previous meetings of former president and Gamal Ben Omar and Ismail Wald Al-Sheikh. President Nasser appreciated efforts Mr. Griffith and his honest pursuits with all Yemeni parties in the north and south to establish security and stability. President Nasser asserted his support to UN envoy’s efforts and demanded all Yemeni, regional and international parties to support the success of these efforts to get out of this conflict that the Yemeni people is suffering from. He also supported Mr. Griffith’s efforts in forming a unified southern delegation during negotiations to stop war and what comes forth. President Nasser expressed his hope for these efforts to succeed and both Nasser and Griffith agreed to continue consultations after Mr. Groffith’s tour during the next few days.
