An agreement to enhance cooperation between southern media authority and Women’s Authority in the Transitional Council

Mukhtar Al-Yafei, Vice President of the Southern National Media Authority, held a meeting with the Head of the Women’s Authority in the Southern Transitional Council, Dr. Suhair Ali Ahmed.

In the meeting, Al-Yafei called for enhancing cooperation between the media and the women authorities, and strengthening the coordination between the two sides.

Mukhtar stressed the need to provide ideal conditions to present a media discourse that keeps pace with the changes in the south, appreciating the role of the Council’s Women’s Authority in formulating community work with women at the forefront.

He expressed the readiness of the National Southern Media Authority to actively contribute to the success of the plans and activities of the Women’s Authority in the media aspect.

For her part, Dr. Suhair reviewed the tasks of the Women’s Authority since its establishment and its role in caring for and paying attention to the women’s sector in the south, noting the importance of the women’s sector at this stage, which requires the efforts of southerners, male and female, in the battle for southern national entitlement.
