An attack by al-Qaeda is repelled in Abyan

The security belt forces in Abyan governorate have been able, at dawn on Monday, to repel an attack by Al-Qaeda militants in Lawdar District.
The spokesman for the southern army and security, Captain\ Mohammad Al-Naqib, said: “The heroes of the security belt responded at dawn on Monday, to an attack by Al-Qaeda militants, targeting the headquarters of the Belt Forces in Lawdar district.”
Al-Naqib said, through his Facebook account: that the attack did not result in any losses.
Al-Naqib, in another comment, indicated that al-Qaeda operatives that carried out the attack started from the Brotherhood’s camps and returned to it.
Al-Naqib said: “The Brotherhood’s military camps and barracks, from which the terrorist elements set out to attack the headquarters of the Security Belt in Lawdar, are their escape from the pursuit of the heroes of the Security Belt.
