An international delegation discusses implementing projects to develop major hospitals in Aden the capital

Dr. Raja Ahmed Ali Massad, Director General of Al-Sadaqa General Teaching Hospital, received representatives of the French organization Doctors Without Borders (MSF) to discuss a number of projects related to the hospital.

Dr. Raja welcomed the MSF team, represented by Dr. Francis Kerr, Director of Coordination at the organization, Dr. Manish Pandey, and Dr. Karis Bayi, Project Coordinator, reviewing with them the most prominent projects in the management plans for the year 2024.

For its part, the MSF team confirmed their readiness to implement the projects proposed by the Director General of Al-Sadaqa Hospital, the most important of which is the approval to establish and build a waste incinerator in the hospital, based on the management’s request and its implementation according to the required specifications and quality standards.

In the same context, Dr. Raja received the team of the Program of Governmental Centers in the Reproductive Health Sector, represented by Fahd Ismail Al-Muqaddam, to inspect the start of the restoration and put forward the organization’s approval to support the reproductive health department in the hospital with equipment, incentives, rehabilitation and training.

Dr. Raja valued the efforts of the Director of Government Programs, Mr. Fahd, and the Mary Stop Organization for its rapid response in providing the mother’s needs during and after pregnancy, in addition to the response of the Mary Stop Organization in restoring and rehabilitating the reproductive health department with all its branches, in which work began on Thursday, February 22, 2024.
