An official in Shabwa Oil Explains Reasons of Oil Pipe Explosion East of Etq

[su_label type=”info”]SMA News – Etq – Exclusive[/su_label][su_spacer size=”10″] General director of Oil and Minerals Department of Shabwa, Said Mohamed Al-Marnoum, uncovered the reasons of oil pipe explosion in Shabwa. Al-Marnoum negated that the accident results from a terrorist act, as some websites indicated before. Instead, he said that the accident on 46th kilo of the pipe resulted from minor leak that was contained emmediately and experimental pumping continued in the pipe line to transfer crude oil from Al-Alam to Al-Neshima. He also indicated that maintenance teams are working on fixing the pipe to commence pumping within hours.
