Arab Traffic Week activities are concluded in Aden the capital with a speech and honoring ceremony

Under the patronage of the Minister of State and Governor of Aden, Mr. Ahmed Hamed Lamlas, the Traffic Police in Aden organized a speech and honoring ceremony to mark the conclusion of the 2025 Arab Traffic Week. The event was held under the slogan:
“Slow down… Life is ahead.”
At the ceremony, Mr. Badr Muawon, Deputy Governor of Aden and Secretary-General of the Local Council, delivered a speech in which he highlighted the importance of this event, which aims to reduce traffic accidents and protect lives and public and private property, calling on everyone to support traffic police in all governorates, considering them the civilized face of the country.
For his part, Major General Dr. Qaed Atef, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Human Resources and Finance, praised all Ministry employees and traffic police personnel, for their discipline and dedication in performing their duties, stressing the Ministry’s keenness to support such events aimed at raising traffic safety awareness, given their direct impact on serving the community.
More over, Major General Mutahhar Naji Al-Shuaibi, Director of Security in the capital, Aden, praised the efforts of traffic police officers during various difficult times and circumstances, stressing the importance of standing by and supporting them, as they represent a fundamental pillar in maintaining traffic safety and the safety of citizens and drivers, pointing to the success of the plans and programs of Arab Traffic Week expressing his happiness at participating in the honoring ceremony.
In turn, Brigadier General Adnan Al-Qalaa, Director General of the Traffic Police in Aden, emphasized that Arab Traffic Week is an important opportunity to spread traffic culture and awareness on a wide scale, through the distribution of posters, instructions, and banners that educate citizens and drivers on how to adhere to traffic rules, thus contributing to reducing accidents and minimizing human and material losses, calling on traffic police officers to make greater efforts to achieve traffic safety, which has become a humanitarian mission aimed at serving the nation and its citizens.
The ceremony included presenting a documentary film about the efforts of traffic police officers and their dedication to their work despite the challenges, which was well-received by the attendees.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, a number of distinguished traffic officers were honored, in addition to 27 female police officers and a number of veteran traffic officers.
