Arresting the emir of al-Qaeda in Lahj

The Anti-Terrorism Units in Lahj Governorate, on Friday, arrested the media official and the legitimate emir of the Al-Qaeda terrorist organization in the governorate.

An anti-terrorism force raided the hiding place of the terrorist emir at dawn in a neighborhood in the city of Al-Houta.

The security investigations revealed the presence of the terrorist leader, and the raid teams moved immediately to apprehend him, as the investigation began with him.

Several cities in Lahj are witnessing an intense security deployment to pursue wanted persons, as the Security Directorate has deployed security points at the entrances and exits of the districts of Al-Houta and Taban, to search for terrorist elements.
