Arrival of first Yemeni stranded flight from Egypt to Aden International Airport

The first Yemeni flights carrying Yemeni stuck passengers arrived Today, Thursday, at Aden International Airport from the Arab Republic of Egypt.

 

The director of Aden International Airport, “Abdul Raqeeb Al-Omari,” said that all of the 150 passengers on the Yemeni flight had undergone a medical examination for the new Corona virus in the Arab Republic of Egypt, indicating that Aden International Airport and its crews are ready to receive the rest of the Yemeni travelers stranded abroad according to the standards of the World Health Organization and the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).

 

Al-Omari indicated that the airport prepared the necessary equipment, including electronic gates, and the identification of lines for the distances of social spacing during the course of inspection procedures and treatment of entry procedures.

 

Al-Omari assured the Yemenis stranded abroad that flights continue on a daily basis, appreciating the efforts of all airport workers in its various departments for what they offer to travelers in light of these exceptional circumstances and conditions.

He called on the International Air Transport Association to reconsider regarding resuming regular flights to and from Yemeni airports after the end of the previous reasons for prevention.
