Assembly’s Administrative Body Calls for Dismissal of Government and Forming Government Performs Crucial Role in Improving and Developing the Situation

The Administrative Body of the National Assembly in the Southern Transitional Council (STC) held its periodic meeting today, Thursday, chaired by Major General Ahmed Saeed bin Brik, Vice President of the STC and Chairman of the National Assembly, and in the presence of his two deputies, lawyer Niran Souqi and Dr. Anis Luqman.
In the meeting, the administrative body reviewed a range of topics and issues, the most important of which were the developments in the situation at various levels, mainly the deterioration of the service and daily living conditions of the people caused by Maeen’s government, which is not properly performing its tasks.
The administrative body condemned the state of living abroad of the leaders in the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) and the government and its disregard for the suffering of the people, as well as the economic and service tampering, the rampant corruption in state institutions, and the absence of control and inspection.
Similarly, the Administrative Body called for the trial of those who imported adulterated diesel for Aden electricity, which caused great damage to electricity generators and environmental health, in addition to the poor implementation of projects like the rehabilitation of Aden International Airport, which was miserably uncovered by the winds and rains that were recently witnessed in the capital, Aden.
Likewise, the Body called for dismissing this government and forming a government that properly carries out its tasks of improving and developing the situation to meet the needs of citizens.
Furthermore, it praised the political developments that resulted from the diplomatic visits abroad and the invitations that were submitted to the political leadership of the STC by several friendly countries in the previous period and will be conducted during the upcoming period.
The meeting stressed the importance of pursuing the southern dialogue with the rest of the political components and organizations because of the tangible positive change it brought about in the southern arena and abroad, as well as reflecting the aspirations of the people of the South and its components to restore the state of the South with full sovereignty without compromising the southern national project.
The meeting, too, applauded the cohesiveness and steadfastness of the people of the South in general and their coalescing around the STC, the real representative of the project of restoring the state.
The meeting emphasized the need to reformulate a well-balanced southern media discourse with an analytical nature to keep abreast of the developments on the landscape.
To the end of its meeting, the Administrative Body stood before the situation in the governorates of Shabwa and Hadramout and stressed the importance of improving the work of the STC’s bodies and members of the National Assembly in the governorates of the South and being prepared to comprehend the next steps on the path of restoring the state and improving living and service conditions.
