Authorities of Queen Alia International Airport in Amman Arrest Sister of Ben Doghr’s Secretary with More Than 650 Thousand US Dollars in Her Possession
[su_label type=”info”]SMA News – Amman – Follow-ups [/su_label][su_spacer size=”10″] “Al-Ghad” newspaper of Jordan, in its issue on Tuesday January 16th, 2018, indicated that authorities of Queen Alia International Airport arrested Arua Al-Sharif, sister of Ghamdan Al-Sharif, media secretary of Ahmed Ben Doghr, prime minister of the so-called legitimacy government in Yemen, with 653 thousand US dollars in her possession. The newspaper indicated Abd Al-Malek Al-Mekhlafy, minister of foreign affairs in Ben Doghr’s government, asked Jordanian authorities to release Al-Sharif after hours of her arrest. This operation of smuggling hard currency came while the Yemeni Riyal reached its lowest levels against US dollar as it reached 520 Yemeni Riyal for 1 US dollar, in serious collapse of the national currency.
