Battles between southern armed forces and Houthi militia on Hadd front in Yafea

Fierce battles took place between the southern armed forces and the Houthi militia, on the Hadd front in Yafea, which is administratively affiliated to the Lahj governorate, on the borders of the northern al-Bayda governorate.

The southern army and security spokesman, Lt. Col. Mohammad al-Naqib, said: “Our southern armed forces units stationed on the Hadd Yafea front are engaged in fierce confrontations against the terrorist Houthi militia.”

He added, “In the confrontations in which various heavy and medium weapons are used, the heroes of our forces continue to respond forcefully and resolutely to the enemy militias’ fire, targeting their positions and demolishing their barracks.”
