Ben Brik meets Coordinating Office Head for Affairs of Organizations in Economic Committee of the Financial Resources

Major General Ahmed Saeed Ben Brik, Chairman of the National Assembly of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), met, on Sunday, with Dr. Mohammed Abu Bakr al-Saqqaf, head of the Coordinating Office for Affairs of Organizations in the Economic Committee of the Financial Resources Committee of the STC.

In the meeting, which attended by an honorable member of the Assembly; Ms. Al-Rumaisa Hussein Yaqoub, head of National Disability Rights Network, Dr. Al-Saqqaf briefed the Major General Ben Brik, on work of the office in relief and medical aspects, and the level of arrangements for movement of international and local organizations, both inside and outside governorates of the South by prior coordination with the security service to ease and secure their movement and work.

Ben Brik praised activities, organized work and efforts of the coordinating office and its officials, to provide aid and assistance to service utilities and health sectors in all governorates, as well as to facilitate the work of relief organizations (international and٠ local) to develop and progress service and medical sectors in the South in particular, and Yemen in general, stressed the need to pay attention and motivate youths to create an ideal life, as they are the mainstay of the future and through whom development and progress can decidedly be acheived.

To the end of the meeting, Major General Ben Brik presented, on behalf of the National Assembly of the STC, gratitude and appreciation plaque to Dr. Mohammad Abu Bakr Al-Saqqaf, for his efforts in serving the community and the southern citizens.

The meeting was attended by Mr. Akram Qassem Moqbel, Undersecretary of Al-Dhalea governorate for Affairs of International Organizations, and Mr. Abdul Rahman Al-Attas, Director of Rahma Around the World Organization, and from the Assembly side, Dr. Najla Al-Saadi, in charge of Humanitarian Relief in the National Assembly, and Colonel Najm Abdullah, Security Officer in the Assembly.
