Ben Brik Meets with Leader Hassan Ba’oum to Check on his Health and Arrange his Return to the Capital, Aden

Major General Ahmed Saeed Ben Brik, Chairman of the National Assembly of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), met on Friday, in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, with the struggler Hassan Ba’oum, head of the Revolutionary Movement Council (RMC).

In the meeting, Major General Ben Brik reassured on the health of Hassan Ba’oum, conveying the greetings of President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the STC, Supreme Commander of the Southern Armed Forces, and his wishes for good health and a sooner return to his homeland.

The meeting, which was attended by Mr. Fadi Hassan Ba’oum, head of the Political Bureau of the RMC, discussed the latest developments in the political, military, economic and service conditions in the southern landscape and in the region in general.

The meeting also reviewed the major political achievements by the leadership of the STC and the military victories by the southern armed forces in defeating the coup forces of the Houthi militia and combating and eradicating terrorism in governorates of the South.

The meeting discussed arrangements for the return of leader Ba’oum to his homeland and the capital, Aden, to visit and meet with his family, and people, as well as to continue working and standing together in order to strengthen southern cohesion and rapprochement for the upcoming entitlements of the South, in response to the sincere invitation by president Al-Zubaidi to all leaders and commanders of the South to return to the capital, Aden.

For his part, Mr. Hassan Ba’oum expressed his happiness with this meeting, gratituding all the efforts made by President Aidarous Al-Zubaidi, President of the STC, and Major General Ahmed Ben Brik, Chairman of the National Assembly, for cohesiveness and rapprochement.

affirming that his return to the homeland will consolidate the cause of the South, the southern consensus, the continuation of the struggle role, and the preservation of all the fulfilled gains to restore the state of the South with its full sovereignty.
