Ben Brik Receives Regional Director of Chinese Jiangsu Company in Africa and Yemen

Major General Ahmed Saeed Ben Brik, Chairman of the National Assembly of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), received, on Wednesday, at the headquarters of the Assembly, Mr. Jia, the regional director of the Chinese Jiangsu Company in Africa and Yemen.
The meeting was attended by Mr. Ali Abdullah Al Kathiri, member of the presidency of the STC, head of the National Southern Media Authority (NSMA) and the official spokesman of the STC,
Major General Ben Brik welcomed Mr. Jia, and presented a clear picture of the general situation in the South in various fields, including the economic one, and keenness of Presidency of the STC to establish security stability, advance the wheel of development and investment, and reconstruct devastation caused by the war, as well as attracting international companies to construct economic projects and promote sustainable economy and investment.
Bin Brik stressed on the deep historical relations with China, which have been contributing to develop and support a number of service-related projects to reduce unemployment.
For his part, Mr. Jia thanked Major General Bin Brik for the courtesy and satisfied explanation that the chairman delivered on the general situation of the country, praising the state of stability in the capital, Aden, and the whole South, unlike what is being negatively promoted in media and social networks.
Mr. Jia, briefed the chairman of the Assembly, on the projects that China is going to implement; including Aden University Hospital project in coordination with the University of Aden, whose tender opening date is expected to be held on June 20, 2022, as the hospital will be the first of its kind in the entire region, stressing that China is ready to implement a number of economic projects that contribute to drive the wheel of economy in the country.
The meeting was attended, from the Chinese company, by Mr. Zhang Feng, Chief Engineer, Mr.Shukri Ba-Ali and Mr. Ali Taher, representatives and coordinators of the company in the capital Aden.
