Bin Brik briefed on the General Situation in Africa by Ambassador Qassem Askar

Major General Ahmed Saeed Ben Brik, Chairman of the National Assembly of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), on Thursday, was briefed by Ambassador Qassem Askar, representative of the General Directorate for Foreign Affairs (GDFA) of the STC in Ethiopia and the Horn of Africa, on the general situation in Africa, especially countries of the African Union, as well as the situation in the Horn of Africa and East African Countries.
Ambassador Askar presented to General Ben Brik a briefing statement on the situation in Somalia and results of the presidential, parliamentary and Senate elections.
The meeting also touched on the security situation in the Red Sea and countries of the Horn of Africa, in addition to general developments in the region, including the peninsula and the Gulf countries, and reflection of these developments on the situation in the South to achieve stability and consolidate relations between the South and region countries.
