Bin Brik Chairs Expanded Meeting of Sheikhs and Social Figures in Hadhramaut

Major General Ahmed Saeed Bin Brik, Vice President of the Southern Transitional Council, chaired an expanded meeting of officials, sheikhs, dignitaries, social figures, and notables in Hadhramaut Governorate on Wednesday in Mukalla. The meeting was attended by Ali Abdullah Al Kathiri, Chairman of the National Assembly; Fadi Baoum, Member of the Presidency of the Transitional Council; and Brigadier General Saeed Al Mohammadi, Head of the Transitional Executive Committee of the Governorate.

At the beginning of the meeting, Major General Bin Brik conveyed the greetings of President Aidarous Al Zubaidi to those present, emphasizing that the meeting is part of efforts to bring together and raise awareness among all tribes, citizens, and all Hadrami components to advance the governorate on all levels, support the soldiers of the Hadrami Elite Forces, and commend the sacrifices they have made for Hadhramaut.

Bin Brik stressed the need to preserve the national unity, solidarity, security, stability, and peace for which Hadhramaut has been known throughout the ages, and to maintain the good reputation that Hadhrami ancestors exported to countries and regions around the world with their enlightened minds and genuine will to develop and advance their countries.

Major General Bin Brik emphasized the importance of preserving the Hadhrami elite with all determination, noting that they exist to protect Hadhramaut and the South as a whole, and that southern blood is woven into all liberation battles. He praised the necessary support provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, the sacrifices of their heroic martyrs, and their strong contribution to liberating the governorate and the South from the forces of Al-Qaeda and the terrorist Houthi militia.

Bin Brik pointed out that the Transitional Council is the comprehensive project and faithful protector of the southern cause, uniting all the people of the south. He emphasized the need for everyone to join forces to correct the path and resolve internal problems, and the need to correct and find solutions to the political, security, economic, and service conditions in general. He listened to a number of proposals and recommendations presented by the participants that would help in the process of unifying the voice and correcting the general situation.
