Chaired by Al-Kathiri .. STC’s General Secretariat holds its periodic meeting and discusses report on political scene in the South

The General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) held its periodic meeting on Monday, in the capital, Aden, Chaired by Mr. Ali Abdullah Al-Kathiri, Acting President of the Transitional Council, Chairman of the National Assembly, and in the presence of Major General Kamal Al-Hamshari, member of the Presidency of STC, Acting Secretary-General of the General Secretariat.
During the meeting, Al-Kathiri provided an explanation on the developments witnessed by the governorates of the South, pointing to the political, security and economic challenges that the enemies of the South are exploiting to strike its national project, stressing the need for the General Secretariat to intensify its efforts as an executive body and direct its efforts to serve the aspirations of the people of the south.
The meeting discussed a report on the political scene in the south during the first half of February, in addition to discussing a report on the developments in the conditions of youth, and addressing a number of emerging issues in the southern national arena.
The General Secretariat also praised the security measures taken in the capital, Aden, stressing the importance of enhancing security to help establish public tranquility and ensure a safe environment that supports the path of stability in the south, while emphasizing the right to peaceful expression in the face of the fabricated service war.
