Chairman of Aden’s Council Visits Jameel Ghanem Institute for Fine Arts in Kriter and Supports a Training Course and Art Gallery for (50) Participants

Professor Abd Al-Nasser Al-Wali, chairman of the Southern Transitional Council in Aden, visited Jameel Ghanem Institute for Fine Arts in Kriter – Al-Sira. Dr. Al-Wali met Foad Mukbel, director of the institute and other staff members who told him about educational and scientific activities of the institute in all fields of arts. Dr. Al-Wali was also informed about the difficulties suffered by the institute including the lack of capabilities and financial support that sometime hinder the students’ activities and delay scheduled training courses.
Dr. Al-Wali appreciated the efforts of the institute and staff members to preserve the artistic and folk aspects of the governorate and improve creative abilities in all fields of Arts. He also promised to support a training course for (50) participants in several arts in addition to holding a gallery for presenting artistic products at the end of the course. The visit came as part of coordinative efforts among the southern transitional council and directorate of educational, vocational and artistic institutes in Aden.
