Chairman of National Assembly discusses with deputies, advisors, and members of administrative body organizing and developing work mechanism

The Chairman of the National Assembly of the Southern Transitional Council, Major General Ahmed Saeed bin Buraik, met today, Monday, with vice-chairmen of the National Assembly, his advisers, and members of the administrative body of the Assembly, in his first meeting after his return to the homeland.

At the meeting, the attendees welcomed Major General bin Buraik on his safe return after a long medical trip he spent in the United Arab Emirates.

In turn, Major General bin Buraik thanked everyone for the warm reception and hospitality, and reassured them of his health.

The Chairman of the National Assembly affirmed that the leadership of the Southern Transitional Council is following up on all recent events and developments on the scene in the South in general and in Aden the capital in particular, and what it suffers as a result of the deterioration of public services, indicating that the leadership of the Council headed by President Aidaroos Al-Zubaidi intends to provide a quick rescue operation for the capital Aden from the disastrous situation they are living in with the onset of the summer season.

Major General bin Buraik discussed with the attendees the mechanism of organizing work in the Assembly according to the requirements of the stage, in order to promote it in a manner that befitting the Southern Transitional Council, stressing that the process of correcting the situation is proceeding as required.

The Chairman of the National Assembly stressed the need to work in team spirit to achieve the desired goal of the people of the South, represented in liberation and independence, and to build the federal southern state on its entire territory.

At the end of the meeting, and in an atmosphere full of joy and pleasure, the association’s employees celebrated the return of Major General Ahmed Saeed.
