Chairman of Oil Company Syndicate: Aden Refineries are Monopolized by Smugglers

[su_label type=”info”]SMA News – Aden – Exclusive[/su_label][su_spacer size=”10″][su_dropcap]C[/su_dropcap]hairman of the coordination committee of Yemeni Oil Companies Syndicates, Abdullah Quaed Hwaidi, indicated that Aden Oil Refineries are now initiating projects for the benefits of monopolizing trader, in a reference to private revenues being established, who sells oil products in black market. He considered that as illegal smuggling that causes several crises.
In an interview with Bandar Aden Radio, Hwaidi said: electric power station is now being fixed so that the refineries can resume production according to organizational work and laws. But the refineries are now paying for establishing pumping stations that serve some persons who use it in private profits outside that organizational work. These pumps are used for illegal earning throwing the boredom of employees’ payments over the government that lost all authority and control over Aden Refineries.
He also negated the allegations some oil companies have unsettled debts for the refineries as all fees are settled. Aden refineries that was once the biggest economic facility is now trumping with salaries of its employees are paid by the ministry of finance while its projects are being financed by the public budget.
