Chairman of National Assembly discusses arrangements for October 14th anniversary event with Guidance and Oversight Team

The Chairman of the National Assembly of the Southern Transitional Council and member of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, Mr. Ali Abdullah Al-Kathiri, met Monday, in the city of Mukalla, with the Presidential Guidance and Oversight Team, headed by lawyer Yahya Ghaleb Al-Shuaibi, member of the Presidency of the Council.
Al-Kathiri praised the efforts of the Presidential Guidance and Oversight Team, stressing the need to redouble efforts to ensure the success of the major national event in Shibam. He emphasized that commemorating this immortal anniversary represents a clear message that Hadhramaut has been and will remain a fundamental pillar of the desired southern state project.
Al-Shuaibi reviewed the team’s efforts, its field visits to the districts, and the meetings it held as part of its oversight and guidance duties. He emphasized that the team has made significant progress in implementing its action plan and strengthening coordination with the local bodies of the Transitional Council.
The meeting reviewed the latest arrangements for commemorating the 62nd anniversary of the glorious October 14 Revolution, scheduled for tomorrow, Tuesday, in the historic city of Shibam. The commemorations will include public events in Wadi Hadramaut, reflecting the spirit of struggle and loyalty to the sacrifices of the heroes who forged the glory and independence of the South.
