Chairman of the National Assembly meets General Director of Buraiqa district

Mr. Ali Al-Kathiri, Chairman of the National Assembly of the Southern Transitional Council, on Sunday, welcomed the General Director of the Buraiqa District in the capital, Aden, Dr. Salah Al-Shoubji.
The meeting discussed the general conditions in Buraiqa District, the local authority’s services to citizens in light of the significant expansion of the District, and efforts to confront illegal land expansion operations and confront the random drainage process.
They touched on the issue of maritime smuggling, the consequences of the burden of the displaced on services and the security risks that result from the problem, in addition to the stifling water crisis in the district, the failure to receive its full share of water supplies, and the efforts of the local authority in the district to solve it.
Al-Kathiri appreciated the efforts of the local authority in Buraiqa to serve citizens in light of the current conditions, stressing the cooperation and joint coordination between the local authority and the executive body of the local leadership of the Southern Transitional Council to enhance services.
